Well I had to go to a village in TN last week. It was short visit but just before returning I fished out my camera and captured a few shots. The main snap is being used in this post at SudaSudaCoffee
But what amazed me is this snap. Cant believe that my teeth is reddish in color.
I know what you are thinking, but no
- I wasnt involved in any road side brawl
- I didnt eat any raw/live chicken (I am a veggie)
- I stay away from paan/beetlenut and its varied stuff
What else could be the reason? Either I need to get my eyes checked (for color blindness) or else I need to get my camera checked.

Thanks for dropping in. Nope - its not my eyes - its my teeth which has a tinge of red. Atleast it appears so to me.....

Nice photo. The color of your teeth might be due to the camera setting.
What camera do you have? what setting did you use.? Did you use any filters?
As long as it isn't black..! It is ok..Just kidding.!! LOL :)

Nope I dont have SLRs. Its just normal C370 Olympus. So filters are ruled out. I guess this is a rare occurence of "red eyes". I was under the impression that it occuerd when flash light got reflected back to the lens. In this case, my teeth shouldnt be reflecting much and more importantly I am not using flash either. So the mystery still remains.
I could have easily cleaned this up digitally. However this was surprising, so shared it.

the reason for that reddish tint is not a flaw with the camera, its a flaw with the lighting. As i can see it, the background seems to be a earthen, brownishh one...so must be the lighting...and thats why your teeth appear so reddish - brown in the snap.

You are right. But still I am wondering as to what is the cause of the reddish-brownish light in the middle of the day.

That was an unintentional shot. Thats why you can see that even the shirt wasnt in proper condition. Sleeves upturned, collar astray. If it werent for the red color mystery, I would have hidden this picture some where.
